Every web design, web development or graphic design project has its own unique set of needs and goals. The first question I always try to answer is "Why?" does this exist. To communicate effectively, you must tell a story with your website/printed piece. I always ask myself, is this piece memorable? (Stories sell, facts tell).
Having a strong background in Graphic Design has helped me excel as a Web Designer/Developer. Strong visual communication skills with fantastic attention to detail (especially while coding — you need to watch that syntax!) are what sets me apart.
